EVERYTOWN // NOT ONE MORE
In the Summer of 2018, Everytown for Gun Safety, one of the country’s largest gun control advocacy groups, came to us with a challenge: help gunsense candidates win in the upcoming Midterm Elections. We couldn’t say yes fast enough; it was a meaningful cause at a vital time.
While the majority of America supports common sense gun control, historically, voter turnout in midterm elections is incredibly low. So, we didn’t need to change minds, we needed to change behavior. We needed to galvanize voters on Election Day.
The NOT ONE MORE Campaign reminded people of the pain, outrage, and helplessness they feel every time yet another mass shooting occurs. We then attempted to turn that frustration into action: VOTING.
Using a variety of media - digital, print, social, and outdoor - we targeted 16 key Congressional Swing Districts around the country. Gunsense candidates prevailed in 15 of those 16 races.

NEW YORK MAGAZINE TAKEOVER
On the week leading to the Midterm Elections, New York Magazine did a cover story on 72 years of school shootings in America. We took out full page ads in the physical magazine and a complete takeover of nymag.com to make sure we were part of the conversation.

INFLUENCER KIT
We created physical kits that were sent out to celebrities that supported gun reform. Each kit included NOT ONE MORE police tape, a collection of posters, gun violence statistics, as well as apparel. The goal was to make sharing an informed gun safety message as simple as possible.
